BURGUNDY SERIES

2023 Volnay Pinot Noir

For centuries, Volnay has been admired as Burgundy’s symbol of grace, producing some of the most elegant and aromatic Pinot Noir in the Côte de Beaune. Its hillside vineyards, rooted in limestone and marl soils, shape wines defined by clarity and a silken texture that have made Volnay one of the region’s most cherished appellations.

The 2023 vintage delivered fruit with ripeness and definition, resulting in a wine of finesse, vibrancy, and layered depth. On the palate, red and black fruits are framed by finely woven tannins. Bright acidity brings lift and tension, while layers of earth and spice carry into a finish of remarkable persistence. Graceful yet deeply layered, this Volnay stands as a benchmark in our Burgundy collection.

VOLNAY, FRANCE

THE PICTURESQUE VILLAGE OF VOLNAY, situated in the Côte de Beaune, is renowned for producing some of Burgundy’s most elegant and refined Pinot Noir. Known for its silky texture and ethereal balance, Volnay is a cherished addition to Kosta Browne’s Burgundy portfolio.

Volnay’s vineyards benefit from limestone-dominant soils and an optimal climate that encourages slow, even ripening. These conditions yield wines with a delicacy and grace that are hallmarks of the appellation. The wines are often described as floral, with notes of violets and roses, and showcase an extraordinary finesse.
