Volnay, Burgundy’s renowned south-east-facing vineyards stand tall with steep, dramatic views. Most impressive in this region is the oolitic limestone. Its pink and pale-green minerals are scattered amongst the banks of metamorphic rock. Best known for their irresistible floral aromas with fresh fruit and spice on the palate, these wines can be enjoyed both young and over time.

THE PICTURESQUE VILLAGE OF VOLNAY, situated in the Côte de Beaune, is renowned for producing some of Burgundy’s most elegant and refined Pinot Noir. Known for its silky texture and ethereal balance, Volnay is a cherished addition to Kosta Browne’s Burgundy portfolio.
Volnay’s vineyards benefit from limestone-dominant soils and an optimal climate that encourages slow, even ripening. These conditions yield wines with a delicacy and grace that are hallmarks of the appellation. The wines are often described as floral, with notes of violets and roses, and showcase an extraordinary finesse.
