ESTATE SERIES

2021 TreeHouse Vineyard PINOT NOIR

Established in 2006 and surrounded by majestic redwoods, our 14-acre Treehouse Vineyard is unparalleled with vibrant-hued Franciscan soil and, admittedly, our winemaker’s favorite site.

Bounded by cypress and redwood trees, vines are bathed in cool, coastal sunshine, yielding wines of intricate allure and youthful vitality with impressive structure. Fermented using 12% whole clusters in stainless steel and concrete, this blend of three Heritage clones was patiently aged for 18 months in 49% new oak. On the palate, notes of dark cherry, wild berries, and black tea build into a stirring crescendo, driving to a long, powerful finish.

Fact of Note: The Treehouse Vineyard Pinot Noir utilized the highest percentage of whole cluster fruit than any other wine in our Estate Series.

Russian River Valley, California

THE RUSSIAN RIVER VALLEY IS hallowed ground for lovers of great Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Here, the vines are submersed in clockwork fog and daytime temperature swings, which preserve the natural acidity essential to elegant, age-worthy wines. We work with a handful of the most beloved vineyards from this remarkable wine region considered by many to be the heartland of California Pinot Noir.

Within Russian River Valley, in a town tucked away from the main roads, you’ll find a community ranging from writer to artisan. The town of Graton is an area where local winemakers and growers take a respite and enjoy some of the many popular yet under-the-radar restaurants. During harvest, the little town is full of life and bustling.
