PALATE

Bold blackberry and cherry are prominent with undertones of sweet spice, leather and cedar. A bold Pinot Noir, the Kanzler Vineyard exudes stunning depth, which lingers throughout the long finish. The dark fruit quality prevails, complimented with sweet oak, chocolate and floral notes, making this wine extremely complex and layered.

SINGLE VINEYARD SERIES

2004 Kanzler Vineyard, Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

One thing is for sure, Kanzler Vineyard has a distinct terrior and produces fruit of exceptional quality. Our 2004 Kanzler Vineyard Pinot Noir is exotic to say the least. This wine is deep, complex and bursting with intense flavors and aromatics. Many distinct components went into this wine contributing to the many layers and complexity. Four lots were picked at the peak of flavor development, fermented separately and then precisely blended to create the most balance possible.
