2011 Vintage Notes

This was a growing season that taxed even the more experienced growers out there.  A cooler growing season which started damp delayed ripening and made harvest a little later than hoped for. The grand finale to the vintage featured a storm that few will forget. Thankfully, we managed to finish most of our harvest before the deluge.

Vintages

2015

Another vintage to make us all smile.

2014

Epic vintage. Near perfect conditions with yields to match.

2013

Quite simply, 2013 offered us truly wonderful conditions and allowed each vineyard to shine despite the recent statewide drought.

2012

Post-card growing season helped nurture a good crop of brilliant quality. A welcome respite from more difficult years.

2011

A challenging vintage but one we relished. Cool and wet spring followed by late rains during harvest caused some concern.

2010

Temperature extremes pushed us and our vineyards but the efforts paid off with resulting high quality.

2009

A joy of a vintage with near perfect growing conditions throughout the year.

2008

A difficult year - with frost, heat and drought all making an appearance.

2007

An ideal, if early, vintage with consistent weather and temperatures throughout the season.

2006

A cool spring was tempered by a hot July but overall, a cooler and more elegant year.

2005

Marked by cool weather that allowed fruit to mature gracefully. A sleek vintage.

2004

Excellent year. Slightly earlier harvest due to warmer temperatures.
