Facts of Note
Named for Gary Franscioni's wife
41% New French Oak
Farmed by legendary winegrower Gary Franscioni and named after his wife, this vineyard experiences a maritime climate with strong winds blown in from Monterey Bay. Foggy mornings with sunny afternoons keep these coastal slopes much cooler than the Salinas Valley just to the east.
We only receive a small portion of this 50-acre vineyard, but the prevailing wine features wild strawberry, prickly pear, blood orange and watermelon rind. An exciting Pinot Noir, with exotic spice traits and strong cellaring potential.
Nose: Mesmerizing notes of wild strawberry with hints of blood orange and watermelon rind.
Mouth: Shimmering red fruit with underlying poise and depth.
