Cerise Vineyard, Anderson Valley, Pinot Noir wine enthusiast
Over the past 25 years, Anderson Valley has gained recognition as the source of some of California’s most distinctive wines, with Cerise Vineyard standing out as one of the region’s most preeminent sites. Rising from 587 to 1,620 feet, Cerise’s steep and unforgiving terrain produces wines that embody an untamable spirit, arresting energy, and luxurious opulence.
The Pinot Noir blocks are situated on the eastern side of the valley, facing west, just 16 miles from the coast. Not a single block rests on flat ground, adding to the vineyard’s unique character.
In 2019, perfect conditions aligned to create an extraordinary Pinot Noir from Cerise Vineyard. Bursting with flavors of black cherry, baking spice, and black currants, this wine showcases exquisite depth and a smooth structure. Its rustic energy is complemented by a soulful palate, understated power, and graceful tannins, culminating in an ethereal wine experience.
